I am in my 3rd year of teaching 2nd grade here at the Yuba City Charter School. I continue to learn as my students are learning. It is an ongoing life process. Everyday is a learning journey. For the remainder of this school year, we will be studying thematic units such as the history of Thanksgiving and Colonial America (in preparation for our school's annual fair in May). There are some field trips in the works for the near future as well. I have an awesome group of students and am looking forward to sharing my teaching experience in combination with their learning experience together as the school year continues.
