I have been with Yuba City Charter in some aspect since they opened their doors, over 11 years ago. I have also worked in many different areas of the school, such as music teacher, teaching assistant in classrooms, office staff, and teaching many different grade levels and I am looking forward to stepping into a new position as vice principal this coming year. I have also enjoyed working with students and their families, doing whatever I could to help them be successful in all that they set their mind to do.
I have double associate degrees in General Education and Early Childhood Education, a bachelors in Sociology/Psychology, Masters in Art of Education with two credentials; one multiply subject and administrative credential. I received my associates at Yuba College and the rest I received through Chapman/Brandman University.
I have been married for 25 years to my very supportive husband John and we have two wonderful boys. One is a graduate of YCCS. He was able to graduate as a junior is now married. The other one hopes to also graduate this year as a junior. I look forward to a wonderful and prosperous year.
