English Composition meets two times a week. High School English Composition is a 5 credit required class.

Swashbuckling pirates, the daring exploits of King Arthur, Gawaine and Lancelot, the horrors of Nazi Germany are all some of the adventures covered in English Composition. Through reading age appropriate literature, writing essays and being involved in a variety of discussion; students fine tune their writing skills. Teaching English Composition is a delight for me, because I have had the joy of seeing youth discover that they are indeed writers, poets, historians and masters of the English language!
I began teaching English more than 7 years ago at Lindhurst High School until I came to work at Yuba City Charter School where both of my sons were attending. I enjoy teaching at YCCS, because it is an excellent school where a family atmosphere is fostered.
