Hello, My name is Dawn Shaw and I am the teaching assistant in the 11th and 12th grade class. This is my first year as a teaching assistant and I enjoy working in the classroom!

I have been married for 21 years to my husband David Shaw who owns an accounting firm in Yuba City. We have two children ages 16 and 12 who both attend Yuba City Charter School. Our oldest child competes in High School Rodeo and the youngest love dinosaurs.

I feel that Yuba City Charter School is a great school that offers an excellent education for students, along with a wide variety of elective courses to fuel creativity.
